My Daughter Gets Wed Tomorrow

I'm in a kind of daze, spread between things I need to get done and a feeling I can't quite decide. I have blessed this marriage, and have grown to love Carlos, my daughter's fiance. It's just a bit strange, never having done this before, and knowing that people will gather at the wedding and reception tomorrow and be focused on what we have planned and how we behave. I know there's nothing really to worry about, because God is in control and he won't allow His celebration to be anything less than glorious. Go here for pictures of the happy couple.

Young Menominee Washing Window

I'm spending the week on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Keshena, Wisconsin. I'm here to install a kiosk and digital signage system in their new Jobs Training Center.

20 Years and Counting

The clock strikes midnight 25 minutes from now, when I will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the birth of my first-born son. It was a great day in my life, and my wife's as well. And I know my dad felt great pride in knowing that his name would be carried on in another generation. I wish he was still here to see his grandson proudly serve in the US Navy.

Happy Birthday, Son!
